1) When did you start watching House?
I started watching from the pilot episode
2) What was your first impression?
I really liked it. In spite of the fact that House seems to be reckless on the final part of the episode Wilson pointed the fact that he he identified himself with the patient (which clearly followed House through all the seasons).
3) Why did you keep watching?
In most of the cases and pacients I've saw myself identified with the situations. For me that's what makes me fan of a show.
On the beginning I had this hope that House was going to "get better" (whatever it means). Not change, but have a better way of dealing with his pain and of course a better way to deal with people. Today after 8 seasons of course I don't have it anymore, he passed through everything and Shore keep saying that he's always going to be miserable so I just accepted this and moved on watching it mostly because of the histories (and another reasons).
4) You hated it when... Why?
In my opinion the true fan is the person who not only sees the good things but also have the courage to admit the bad as well. I hate in a general way that House is stuck in the same behavior because no one is like this. People don't change? Yes, I totally agree but people can get better or get worse inside of their personalities
When we watch some show in most of the times is to see some possibility of happiness specially on the leading character and we don't see this on House. he took a shot by a pacient's relative, he was directly responsible for the death of the girlfriend of his friend, he was in a mental institution, he conquered the woman he used to love for years, he was arrested and none of this made no effect on him on the vision of the producers. It's sad. Sorry for the huge text but what I hated? He passed through all of this and is still miserable with no chance of a "happy ending" (and happy ending is no married man with children but a man with a better quality of life). That's all I want for my doctor, that's the minimum I want for him because he deserves for all he had been through.
5) You loved it when... Why?
Oh God, I loved so many things. Even the dark parts when he was on the limit of the pain (emotionally and physically). But I loved some epic moments; such as when there was hope that he would heale his leg (S2-S3), when Amber died (S4), when he collapsed on the final of Season 5 and his attemps to get better during the S6.
6) Why House mattered to you?
Like I said before I kind of identified myself with House mostly because I believe that all of us are damage people, looking for some hope of get better, some few moments of happiness (whatever happiness means for each one of us).
7) What will you miss?
Jesse Spencer and Chase with the same force.
8) What will you remember?
House brought incredible things to me. Not just the show but the fandom. I don't believe any other fandom is so obsessive like House's.
I spent nights watching episodes with my friends, discussing them, shipping characters. All of the fandons fights on this end of the show will not erase the good moments that I spend with these people. The good moments of interviews like Paley Center, the gossips and of course the fights inside the fandom (shippers)
I will always be grateful for the good moments, for the friends that I made and for being introduced to Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein.
